.ROCK.Out.Loud - Services
.ROCK.Out.Loud - "Rocking to a Different Beat"
Group Sessions
.ROCK.Out.Loud group lessons will be open to 4-8 clients per session. Each group lesson is themed differently each week and will provide clients with the opportunity to perform with different Rock Instruments (Drum Set, Guitars, Bass, Vocal Mics, Keyboards) and also provide the opportunity to interact socially with other clients. We gear the group lessons to be more laid back and focus on developing Social Skills through the art of music. Clients will also be provided with some Fine Motor and Gross Motor exercise with the actual playing of the instruments, taught how to appropriately take turns, follow verbal directions, and we will be trying to provide unprompted socialization with staff and other clients.

Private Instruction
.ROCK.Out.Loud private lessons will be provided to clients who are interested in learning how to play a specific instrument: drums, bass, guitar, and piano. Each client will be taught the basics including the parts of the instrument, proper care and cleaning, as well as playing the instrument. The lessons are not focused on theory or even reading music at first. The goals of the private lessons are to get the clients able to play the instrument appropriately, be creative with writing, and also learning how to play songs.
We have instructors who are willing to travel in order to make the learning experience more productive in a comfortable environment.  We also have facilities in which the instruction could take place outside of the home.

Rocking Rhythm Therapy

Rocking Rhythm Therapy is geared towards gross motor and fine motor movement to help children understand a feel for music.  Drumming develops independence in all four limbs of your body and has also been shown in some studies to help bridge the left and right side of the brain, which is responsible for emotions, intuition, and relaxation.  This therapy focuses on pattern development, sequencing hand patterns, listening therapy, following directions, as well as an outlet for emotions.  This service is provided as a alternative to private instruction.

Tour and Explore

Tour and Explore is a program developed to introduce children to all instruments used when playing in a rock band.  The client will be exposed to all the instruments that are seen in a typical group session, except it is a one on one therapy.  The benefits to this program allows the client to explore and experiment with different instruments and create their own music.  Gross motor, fine motor exercise, listening therapy, and proper care for instruments are taught in this class.  This service is a great service to expose a client in a one on one setting to see what instruments they have a particular interest in.  We also use this service as a first session to new clients 10 minutes prior to their first group session, to allow our client to become acclimated to the environment, instruments, and instructors who will be working with them.  This service is complimentary with every purchase of a group session as part of the very first session.  It can also be used as an alternative to private instruction, if you would just like your child, teen, or adult to be exposed to music in general.
